Topics include the (virtual) campus visit, finding the right fit, essays, interviews and standardized testing. Learn how selective college-admissions committees review applicants, what catches an admissions officer’s eye and how to avoid pitfalls. Anyone guiding a student through the admissions process will benefit from this session.

Join College Farm pizza pros Matt Steiman and Jenn Wolf for the inside scoop on making farm pizzas from scratch. Jenn will share secret recipes for some of our favorite seasonal marinara sauces and Matt will highlight our dough recipe and explain how to achieve a crowd-pleasing pizza crust. Participants are welcome to follow along from the comfort of their kitchens. A list of ingredients will be shared ahead of the class.

Strolling Through Time: The History of the Dickinson Campus

Did you know that Bosler Hall was once faced with red sandstone, like Denny Hall? Or that Weiss Center was originally built as a gymnasium? Were you aware that there was once a North College building? How many other campus buildings just aren’t there anymore? In this virtual tour, we’ll look at the history of the campus through its structures and spaces, addressing how building uses have changed over time as the college progressed.

Many LGBTQ+ individuals look for ways to connect with the community; we want to find ways to serve, provide support and/or create a more equitable world. This panel will address ways you can create local connections, build community and be an activist for the LGBTQ+ community. If you are looking to find new ways to deepen your ties to your own community, come learn from the successes of your fellow Dickinsonians! A Q&A session will follow the presentation as well as time to connect with other Dickinson alumni.
